About Scott
I earned undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics in 2006 and continued to pursue graduate education at the University of Minnesota. I have a master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota, with an emphasis in Computer Graphics and Computational Geometry. Since graduating, I have worked for numerous companies, including Mozilla (the makers of Firefox), InVision, When I Work, General Dynamics, and Chromatic. I've also done a bit of freelance consulting and software development on the side. In my free time, I enjoy ice hockey, drawing, painting, sailing, and martial arts. I love teaching and find it rewarding and fulfilling.

I teach introductory computer science, including programming languages and algorithms/data structures, as well as advanced tutoring in computational geometry, computer graphics, video game development, and 2D/3D rendering. I have a Master's degree in Computer Graphics and 15+ years of experience working in the industry, including with major software companies like Mozilla and InVision. I help teach not only the textbook and course knowledge, but also lessons from real-world problems I've encountered in my career. I can help you with everything from coursework in high school or college to career advancement. I'm also open to tutoring students who are just interested in computer programming for fun and not for any professional development.
