About Russell
I have been working with computers consistently since I first saw a Commodore Pet in 1977. I was a Professor of Computer Applications instructor for the Cal State Hayward East Bay campuses from 2002-2005. Since 2005 I have been privately teaching through my business with a variety of students from every level, including children and seniors. I have shown them everything from how to set up and run basic Windows and Apple operating systems to the use of Office 365 programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. I also have instructed on the use of Adobe Acrobat, Google Applications, and video apps such as Clipchamp and Videopad. One of the things that matters to me so much is to see people connected with their systems in a way that makes their lives better, their lives easier, and happier because the fear behind using computers is gone. Once someone understands what they are doing with a computer, they no longer fear it and it can connect them with a world of opportunities.

I have been located in Northern CA and have provided computer instruction on a University Level Basis (For Cal State East Bay, San Francisco State, St. Mary's University). I have been a private instructor since 2005 helping people of all skill levels increase their computer knowledge. I have always said that there are no stupid questions-- if you ask me something because you don't know the answer, it's a good question. I always like to find out how my students LEARN, especially when I work with them one-on-one. Some want to watch me do something, others want me to observe what they are doing and tell them if they are getting it right. I want to make sure my students know about the subjects I am training on and can meet any of their desired objectives when shown how to achieve them.
