About Kaylin
Originally from the US, I'm a student in a top university in France (La Sorbonne) where I study linguistics, grammar, and literature. I'm back in the states for the rest of this 2019-2020 school year and summer. I've lived in France for 3 years total and have continually given classes (French and English) on the side while for a duration of my studies, including working in a public school. I have virtually no accent while speaking French, a very large vocabulary, and have studied very intensely grammatical structures and correct expression.

I strongly believe that the current teaching method in most public schools isn't as effective due to a lack of oral-based practice, therefore no matter the level of the student, we will engage in spoken French as much as possible, while reviewing any grammar and vocabulary in a written form as needed. I also believe that literary works are essential in learning a language, so we will be basing our lessons off of short written blocks of text.
