About Zara
Hi! I’m a female skateboarder who’s been riding since I was about 7 years old. I used to compete in skateboarding around Los Angeles and Australia, which gave me a lot of experience and a deep love for the sport.
These days I mostly skateboard for fun, it’s something that helps me clear my mind, stay active, and enjoy being outside. Skateboarding has been a huge part of my life, and it’s something I’m really passionate about sharing with others.
I’ve also spent many years teaching, and it’s incredibly rewarding to watch students build confidence, learn new skills, and discover how much fun skateboarding can be. Seeing someone land their first roll or push and light up with excitement is one of the best parts of teaching.
My goal is simple: to help new skateboarders feel comfortable, have fun, and experience the same joy that skateboarding has given me for so many years.

New to skateboarding? That’s perfect, beginners are welcome!
I like to start lessons on the grass so kids can safely get a feel for the board while learning balance and coordination. Once they’re comfortable, we move onto solid ground where they’ll start rolling, learning how to push, and building confidence on the board.
My goal is to make skateboarding fun, exciting, and encouraging, not something that feels like a chore. We’ll even turn learning into games with the board so kids stay engaged while developing real skills.
By the end, they’ll not only learn the basics of skateboarding but also build confidence, coordination, and a love for riding.

Zara has a great personality for working with children, having being a child care teacher and a regular fixture at the LA skate parks growing up, to teaching kids at Hyde park in London, she has helped many adventurers explore their love of skateboarding.
Zara is brilliant and after years of giving up trying to skateboard, she’s finally made me feel confident in getting up on a board (and being able to stay up!!) haha. She’s a joy to be around and a wonderful teacher!
