About Alicia
I am a passionate educator with a background in community organizing, which means I wholeheartedly value every student's experiences that they bring to our learning community. I love watching my students grow and improve. Public speaking is critical in all career fields. I have taught public speaking and academic life skills at the College of Southern Nevada for over two years in two different departments with my master's degree from American University in Strategic Communication. I am also an education doctoral student at Baylor University online. I study education so I can improve my own teaching strategies and curriculum development.

I have taught high schoolers, nontraditional students, and through prison education. I know how to teach to all ages and backgrounds with meaningful support. All serious students have left my class feeling confident with improved public speaking skills. You will increase public speaking self-confidence with proven confidence-building tools and activities and feel empowered. You'll also improve your speech content and delivery with fun activities and personalized plans ranging from impromptu speaking to identifying audiences and messaging.
