About Amanda
I have 13 years of teaching experience and hold a Master of Science in Mathematical Sciences. Throughout my teaching career, I have guided students from middle school through pre-university mathematics, helping them improve confidence through supportive mentoring, structured instruction, and engaging learning experiences. My goal is to inspire every learner to approach mathematics with curiosity and determination.
One student initially struggled with solving mathematical finance problems because calculating compound growth over varying time periods required careful interpretation of formulas. Through practical investment examples, spreadsheet activities, and guided calculations, the student gradually mastered the topic and achieved excellent results in mathematics assessments.
I believe mathematics develops creativity, logical reasoning, resilience, precision, and lifelong curiosity that benefit students in every stage of education and professional life. Outside teaching, I enjoy developing mathematics enrichment resources, mentoring new teachers, and participating in educational conferences focused on innovative mathematics teaching practices.

My teaching philosophy emphasizes helping students build mathematical confidence through conceptual understanding, logical reasoning, and meaningful real-world application.
