Ah, the art of teaching tricky Spanish pronunciation! It's like being a maestro, conducting an orchestra of tongues and teeth. Start with the basics: practice the 'j' in 'jalapeño' until it sound less like gargling water and more like a gentle clearing of the throat.
I grew up translating for my mother who spoke no English, which taught me to be patient and intuitive to meet all at their level of learning.
