About Hyeyoung
Hi. My name is Hyeyoung; I am a native Korean speaker, and I currently live in a wee town called Tillicoultry, in Scotland, UK. I desire to do more than teach a language but also introduce Korean culture too! (i.e., Food, K drama, K pop & history etc.) I am looking forward to learning & creating together. I do have 8 years of teaching experience. I have a qualification as a Korean teacher. I am an author of children’s books. If I could describe myself with only three words, I would pick enthusiastic, creative, and encouraging!

I use different materials like online textbooks, my own PPT, music & media clips, and articles, I like to connect the Korean language with what my students are interested in. - What should you expect? Perfect! Hyeyoung is a joy to work with and I look forward to my session every week with her! She is very patient when learning the basics of Korean and always encourages you to reach your full potential. I feel as though I’m improving every week learning with her. I’m so happy I chose her to go on this journey with!

Hyeyoung is an amazing teacher. She is very patient and is always super positive. Confidence is one of the biggest barriers with language learning but Hyeyoung is so encouraging I'm never embarrassed to have a go. I'm always buzzing with positivity after our sessions.
I wanted to lear Korean as I practice Korean martial arts and I've found Hyeyoung She is an amazing person and a great tutor. She's very patient and explain everything as many times as you need. Our lessons are fun and I always look forward to the next one. Totally recommend Hyeyoung to anyone starting their Korean language journey!
Hyeyoung is an amazing tutor. Learning Korean with her is great, every lesson is interesting and very enjoyable. Unlike a lot of other tutors where lessons can be bland and lack engagement, and you can also be bombarded with homework. But Hyeyoung is flexible and easy going and is always in an amazing mood. She is excited to teach and progress with you. Her teaching abilities are incredible and she puts a lot of time and effort into my lessons making them fun and engaging. My abilities are improving at a great pace because of her teaching. I fully recommend Hyeyoung as an amazing, kind and trustworthy tutor.
