About Clara
I hold a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Columbia University and completed postdoctoral research at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, so you can trust that I know the material at a deep, real level. I currently tutor chemistry, biology, and anatomy and physiology, and previously worked as a teaching assistant at Columbia, leading a problem-solving section for undergraduate and graduate students. Beyond credentials, I am reliable, prepared, and easy to communicate with. I co-founded a nonprofit in New York City, where I managed budgets and trained volunteers, so consistency and follow-through are second nature to me. You can count on me to show up ready for every session and to genuinely invest in your progress, not just get through the material.
