About Sophia
My first two jobs included babysitting and teaching ballet. Kids have always been a focal point of my work, and I look forward to helping your child succeed. As a current college student, I understand the pressure of school and the frustration that comes with falling behind. My goal is to keep kids on top of their work while providing an exciting learning environment.

Every student is different! I try to cater my lesson plans to the needs of each particular student. I help kids of all ages work through and review classroom and curricula topics and assignments. I assist students with homework, projects, test preparation, and papers. I help students understand key concepts while keeping the lessons lively and engaging. For younger elementary-aged students, I help them to understand historical and grammatical concepts. For high school students, I proofread and edit complex essays in history or English on top of conceptual understanding.
