About Natasha

Hello! My name is Natasha, and I’m a freshman Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Dayton with a passion for literature, reading, and the English language. Having earned a perfect 36 on the ACT Reading section, I have developed strong reading comprehension, analytical thinking, and critical interpretation skills that I’m excited to share with my students.
As a literature lover, I enjoy exploring stories, analyzing texts, and discovering the deeper meanings behind words. I believe that learning English should be an engaging and rewarding experience, and I strive to help students develop both their academic abilities and their appreciation for reading and writing.
My goal as a tutor is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, expressing their ideas, and learning from their mistakes. I tailor my approach to each student's needs and learning pace, helping them strengthen their skills, build confidence, and reach their academic goals.

My Teaching Method and Approach
My goal is to make English enjoyable, engaging, and easy to understand for every student. I adapt my teaching methods to each student's learning style, pace, and individual needs. Through clear explanations, interactive activities, and practical exercises, I help students develop strong reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Each lesson is tailored to the student's academic goals and current level. We begin by reviewing previous material and identifying areas that need improvement. I then introduce new concepts using simple explanations and examples, followed by guided practice and independent exercises. Depending on the student's needs, lessons may include reading passages, grammar activities, spelling practice, creative writing, or essay development. We finish by reviewing key concepts and discussing progress.
