About Madeline
I graduated in December of 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/Anthropology, but for half of my college career I studied Early Childhood Education. In school, I have always excelled at essay writing and english related activities, so I have decided to offer tutoring in these subjects. My tutoring experience includes a full school year of tutoring in all subjects for a 6th grader attending a private school and helping children with homework when under my supervision (either while working at an after-school care program or babysitting).

I believe that a personalized approach to tutoring is essential. I use a multi-sensory approach to teaching, incorporating visual, kinetic, auditory methods and tailoring the rest of my tutoring around the approach or approaches that seem most effective with the student. Additionally, I believe that "learning by doing" is very important in order to effectively tutor.
