About Rahil
Hi, my name is Rahil, and I’m a Biology graduate with a strong background in science, healthcare, and pre-med coursework. As someone who has taken many of the same challenging classes that students often struggle with, I understand how overwhelming subjects like biology, chemistry, and other science courses can feel at first. My goal as a tutor is to make these topics easier to understand and help students build confidence in their academic abilities.
My tutoring style is relaxed, patient, and focused on helping students learn from their mistakes. I believe students improve the most when they are guided through where they went wrong instead of simply being told the answer. In my sessions, I focus on breaking down concepts clearly, working through practice problems, and helping students understand the reasoning behind the material.
I am especially helpful for students interested in biology, healthcare, or pre-med career paths. Along with academic support, I can offer guidance on study habits, science coursework, and what it is like to pursue a pre-health track. I primarily work with junior high and high school students who need help with homework, test preparation, or building a stronger foundation in science.

My tutoring approach is laid-back, supportive, and focused on helping students actually understand the material instead of just memorizing steps. I like to guide students through problems by asking questions, pointing out mistakes, and helping them correct their own work. I believe students often learn the most from their mistakes, so instead of simply giving the answer, I help them figure out where they went wrong and how to fix it.
A typical lesson would start by reviewing what the student is currently working on or struggling with. Then, we would go through practice problems together, focusing on the main concept behind each question. I would explain difficult ideas in simpler terms, use examples, and make sure the student understands why an answer makes sense. The goal is to build confidence and problem-solving skills, not just prepare for one assignment or test.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my patience and my ability to keep lessons relaxed while still being productive. I try to create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes without feeling judged.
My lessons are mainly for junior high and high school students who need help strengthening their understanding, improving their homework, studying for exams, or catching up in class.
