About Nancy
Hello future students and parents. I'm Nancy and I look forward to helping my students master the English language through reading, spelling, phonetics and grammar. I have been tutoring and teaching, including homeschooling, for five decades. I teach all skill levels, whether your child is just beginning to read ( Pre-K) or you are any age and at any grade level or skill level and need help in certain areas. Whatever you need help with, you can rest assured that with me teaching you all that you need to know you will become a master of the English language. I will prepare you to move forward confidently in life with your new skills, including getting great grades in school all the way up to being able to read, spell and write so you can properly and independently fill out applications for college and for employment. You will know how to read, speak, spell and write using proper English, and grammar is a big part of this. Most of my homeschool students, when evaluated for advancement, tested out 2 to 3 grades above grade level in these subjects. I look forward to meeting you and teaching you and as always I'm here to help you succeed.

Hello prospective students! I'm excited to teach you all you need to know about the English language, including reading, spelling, grammar and writing. Mastering the English language is so important for your future. All of my lessons are individualized based on your needs. Whether you are the parent of a Pre-K student and want to open him or her up to the wonderful world of reading, or you're a student at any grade level that is struggling in one or more of these areas, or you need to prepare for the SATs and graduation, or you are new to the English language altogether....I can teach you all you need to know to either start you on your way or to enhance what you have already learned. Some of my former students have gone on to join the military, and others have been able to attend college part-time while still in high school and being taught by me in the subjects of English, reading, writing, and grammar. Some have prepared for and done excellent in the reading section of the SATs and have gone on to get 4-year college degrees in the subjects of psychology, criminal law, veterinary medicine and others. Some of my students have gone on to technical schools and others for associate degrees at 2 year colleges. Others have gone straight into the workforce. I also spent much time tutoring in the middle schools.... 8th graders who only had 5th grade reading levels and 6th graders with 3rd grade reading levels who were able to catch up to their proper grade level. Reading is fundamental so no matter what your situation, I'd love to help you master the English language through reading, writing, grammar, and spelling. It's very important to me that I do all I can to give you the best possible chance at a successful future through mastery of the English language.
