I have a Masters Degree in Biology and taught preparatory classes in Biology and Chemistry for high school students and taught courses in biology at 5 different colleges/universities over the past 30 years. I enjoy working with teenagers and young adults.

My teaching methods includes hands-on approaches. I include many examples in teaching subjects in Biology. I encourage ask students to draw prior knowledge of science when exploring new topics.
I am kind, patient, and encouraging. I believe all students have the potential to succeed in understanding science and will work to help them succeed by using multiple approaches to find the teaching method that works best.
