About Tom
I have been studying Psychology for over eight years, starting from A-level, to a bachelor's degree, master's degree and now up to the final year of an experimental psychology PhD. I regularly deliver undergraduate research skills sessions (both quantitative and qualitative) and so know all too well how confusing it can be!

Perfect! I’ve been learning statistics with Tom for a few weeks, and I’m genuinely impressed by the progress I’ve made - all thanks to him! He has not only broken complex concepts into digestible parts, he also took into consideration my learning style and specific objectives. He made sure to use personalised examples related to my areas of interest (rather than using generic teaching material). In just a few lessons, I can certainly feel my confidence building up - would highly recommend Tom as a tutor!

Tom is an excellent tutor. Having both taught alongside him, and been taught by him, his teaching style is faultless. Tom’s friendly and non-judgemental teaching style will help many tutees feel at ease, not to mention his wide breadth of knowledge that he can pass onto others. There is no doubt Tom will excel in this role.
Tom is an excellent tutor who has an extremely patient and clear teaching style. His is excellent at tailoring his teaching to the necessary level for the current student so I expect him to be very well suited to a private tutoring role.
