About Carl
From 3 years old the life blood we call water has fascinated me and 36 years later that fascination is just as strong, maybe even in some cases even stronger.
Over the years I have targeted and caught big fish of most species with large amounts of focus on Carp, Tench, Roach, Barbel and Chub but if it will pull back, then I'll fish for it!
I've caught them fish on various methods too, from your standard but very effective "bolt rig" type fishing, to trotting a float down the river or watching a waggler, to link ledgering, method feeder fishing and a whole host in between.
It's my belief that with the right foundations in terms of angling skills pretty much anything is achievable and that is what I aim to teach you.

- Picking your peg and why.
- Location, where to fish in your peg
- Methods to get the best from your peg

This lesson foundation is how I aim to teach every lesson I provide, whether it be winter Barbel fishing or fishing for Perch on lures and everything in between, I will deliver it in an easy to follow, un-cluttered manner designed to get the most out of each lesson.

Awesome fishing tutor!
I was a total beginner and knew nothing at all, but they took things right from scratch and made it super easy to follow. No complicated talk—just clear tips on gear, knots, casting, and where to fish. Carl was patient, happy to answer all my silly questions, and made every session fun. I feel way more confident now and actually caught my first fish thanks to them! Definitely worth it!View more recommendations
