About Rachel
I have just finished my Biomedical Science degree (2:1) at Lancaster University and am looking to give individual tutoring to students for GCSE Physics, up to ALevel Chemistry and Maths, and Biology up to University. Prior to University, I studied Biology (B), Chemistry (B) and Maths (A) at A-level.
I have previously done some group mentoring with Science students and some individual Maths tutoring whilst at Sixth Form and therefore I have some experience tutoring, but would like to give private individual lessons to ensure that the student receives the best teaching possible.

My name is Rach, I am a Clinical Research Master Student at Lancaster University. I am looking to provide individual face-to-face or web-based tuition based on course specifications for (up to and including) GCSE Physics, Alevel Chemistry, Mathematics with Statistics and University Biology.
Lessons are one hour per week for face-to-face sessions and 1.5 hours for web-based sessions and will focus on specific areas of difficulty as well as an overview of the course ensuring that all details of the course specification are covered. Lessons will be complemented with some take home exercises to solidify learning prior to the next session. I will be available to email at all times for any questions/queries.
I believe that everyone can achieve their potential. To me, it doesn't matter if you're aiming to achieve a grade 9/A* or a 4/C - if you're willing to work, I would love to help you achieve the grade you deserve! I hope that my friendly and fun approach to learning will help you engage in the teaching and enable you to get the best out of yourself!
