About Cheyenne
Hi! My name is Cheyenne and I am a second-year Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology major. I am so excited to help you learn English and become a confident speaker, as it will also give me more experience in my field. I know how important it is to feel comfortable when learning a new language, and I’m here to make that process fun and easy. Don’t worry about making mistakes—that’s how we learn. My background as a Speech-Language Pathology major, I have a deep understanding of language development, articulation errors, and the target goals for different age ranges. I also bring cultural sensitivity, as I recognize how a child’s native language and dialect influences their English learning process. I use real-life scenarios, role-playing, and games to encourage practical language use.
Lessons Include:
- Warm-up (greetings, simple questions)
- New vocabulary and phrases
- Pronunciation exercises
- Cartoon clips (to encourage learning outside of the classroom!)
