About Jaclyn
This year, I am going to enter my 24th year of teaching, in which I teach 6th grade. I’ve also taught kindergarten, first grade, and fifth grade. I also have a master’s degree in elementary administration. During some of my leadership roles, I gained experience teaching and training adults on a variety of subjects.

I’m comfortable teaching students who speak a variety of languages. I can break apart concepts into easy to learn steps. My lessons always begin with teacher modeling and I then provide multiple forms of practice, each with increasing difficulty. I make sure to provide meaningful feedback.
