About Caroline
Hi! My name is Caroline and I'm a writer and tutor based in London. I studied Classics at uni, and then went on to get an MFA in Creative Writing, during which I wrote my first novel. As I pitch this to agents, I am also getting ready to start my PhD in Creative Writing. I write a lot of poetry, and run a poetry-in-the-post business called Words On Wings, which you can check out on Etsy. I tutor in Classics, English Lit and Creative Writing. In my spare time, I love going to the theatre, reading and writing, and eating good food!

Doing GCSE or A-Level Classics? Or are you simply interested in finding out more about the ancient world? I did GCSE and A-Level Classics (A* and A) and then went on to get a BA in Classics at Durham University, where I graduated with First Class Honours and a Distinction in my dissertation, which explored the link between silence, suicide and gender on the Sophoclean tragic stage. I have particular expertise in ancient literature, especially Virgil's Aeneid, The Odyssey and The Iliad by Homer, the Greek tragedies of Aeschylus, Euripides and Sophocles, and Ovid's Metamorphoses. Whether you need help prepping for exams, or want to delve into the brilliant world of ancient mythology and storytelling, I can help! I'll tailor the lessons to your needs and interests. All ages and experience levels welcome.
