About Cyrus

I love music more than anything in the whole world, and as a teacher I pour every ounce of energy I have into making sure that your learning experience is optimal and ideal. Growing up in a Korean and Persian household, I've been surrounded by a musically inclined family, making piano a natural fit for me at a very young age. With the gift of perfect pitch, I rapidly excelled through the Yamaha School of Music curriculum, leading me to train under Juilliard Alumni Mr. Goffe. I've performed in a multitude of musical settings, ranging from winning several classical piano competitions, jazz quartets, accompanying youth choirs, and playing in a multi-genre band.

About the lesson

I am offering premium in-person and online lessons (Orange County and Los Angeles County), for $60/hr with a free first lesson. I am additionally offering 30 min lessons for $40. A free Zoom consultation will be provided to assess each student's needs and map out the best course of action for learning. After the zoom, I will draft a concise three month lesson plan to set the student on that specifically targets their weaknesses and enhances their strengths. I utilize tried and true piano tactics to enhance each student's skills while learning the music they desire. From Bach to Pink Floyd, I help students play the songs of their dreams.
