About Cyrus
Growing up in a Persian and Korean household, I've been surrounded by a musically inclined family, making piano a natural fit for me at a very young age. With the gift of perfect pitch, I rapidly excelled through the Yamaha School of Music curriculum, leading me to train under Juilliard Alumni Mr. Goffe. I've performed in a multitude of musical settings, ranging from winning several classical piano competitions, jazz quartets, accompanying youth choirs, and playing in a multi-genre band.

I am offering premium in-person and online lessons (Orange County), for $50/hr with a free first lesson. I am additionally offering 30 min lessons for $35. A free consultation over Zoom will be provided to assess the needs of each individual student in order to map out the best course of action for learning. Generally, but not limited to, there are four learning-course options that can be taken by a student--
1. Classical Virtuoso: This course will begin by teaching students hand strengthening exercises such as the Hanon Etudes along with essential music theory. In wrapping up this course, students will be able to play comprehensive classical repertoire from the likes of Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, and Liszt, and have a deep understanding of advanced music theory.
2. Casual-Player: This course will begin by teaching the essentials of music theory and aid in developing the player's musical ear. By the end of this course, the student will be easily able to play well-known classics from artists like Billy Joel, Elton John, The Beatles, etc.
3. Music Theorist: This course will begin by students learning fundamental music theory concepts such as the circle of fifths, learning how to read the grand staff, understanding time signatures, etc. By the end of this course, students will be able to understand music composition, note reading, and create music of any genre their heart desires.
4. Mr. Jazz: This course will begin by students learning the fundamentals of jazz such as the Blues Scale, different chord notations, etc. By the end of this course, students will be able to play any jazz standard of their choosing, as well as have the ability to build and collaborate with other musicians they play with.
