I work in the medical field with special needs. Amd on my own time i teach music. I studied with numerous music professors and private teachers. I was a keyboardist in a local band and i did many recitals in varioua popular places such as carnige hall.

I am a patient teacher, i usually request that my students do take their lesson seriously and practice on a daily otherwise i feel it is a waste of your time as well as my own. I normally do an hour lesson and depending on the level of the students i will also do theory. I do let my students know that i am always available for anything and they can always reach out to me even for a simple question or the tiniest issue. I do ask for the student to be punctual because i do have other students scheduled behind them. If tardiness or absentses become a habit i draw up a contract or omit make ups or i just asked the student to discontinue the lessons altogether. I do makeups if the students is unable to attend just call and reschedule at least 24 to 48 before the lesson so that the other students may have a chance to take that slot just for that day and time if need be.
