About Glenn
I grew up in a musicians family and picked up my first guitar in fifth grade. I participated in Jazz Band at high school and also took lessons for the Classical Guitar and Cello, performing with the Utah Youth Philharmonic Orchestra and featuring as a guitarist at the Teton Music Festival for an excerpt of “The Barber of Seville”. I recently graduated from the University of Utah in music composition and held the scholarship for classical guitar all five years of my attendance. I also released an EP in 2018 of my own music in which I performed the guitar and vocals under the project Boy Venus.

While it’s necessary to have a plan going into lessons I find it invaluable to negotiate with the student the material we cover on a base to base basis. Working from my own experience as a student I strive to give my pupils concrete easily manageable goals they can quickly switch between (in order to maintain their focus and interest), as well as another more long term challenge or passion project to work towards.
