About Alvaro
I bring over 10 years of experience as a guitar teacher, working with students of all ages and skill levels. I am trained in the Suzuki Method, a teaching approach that fosters musical growth through listening, encouragement, and step-by-step skill development, perfect for young beginners yet equally enriching for adult learners. My own musical journey has been shaped by studying with renowned guitarists such as René Izquierdo, Martín Madrigal, Pedro Salcedo, and Arody García. I have also participated in masterclasses with internationally celebrated artists including Marco Tamayo, Dimitri Illarionov, Pablo Garibay, Marcin Dylla, among others, gaining diverse perspectives and techniques that I now share with my students.

Each one hour session combines technical training to develop strength, agility, and precision with theoretical understanding, giving you the tools to not only play the guitar but also to truly understand the music you’re performing. We’ll work on technique, musical expression, and a deeper comprehension of rhythm, harmony, and interpretation, so you can connect with your instrument on every level.
