About Dayton
I'm a composer with 10 years of experience writing for chamber ensembles, orchestras, choirs, and more. My music has been performed across the U.S. and internationally, including at venues like Carnegie Hall. I'm a Fulbright scholar to France, and I have a master's degree in composition from the Yale School of Music and bachelor's degrees in composition (with a piano concentration) and English literature (with a French minor) from the University of Michigan. I've taught students from a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences, and am passionate about helping my students achieve their goals!
