About Arturo
My name is Arturo, graduated from the Economics of the National University of Colombia. I am currently working as a research assistant in the Subdirectorate of Employment and Social Security of the National Department of Planning; and I do Master's studies in Economics. I have given private classes of Macroeconomics, Microeconomics and Econometrics to students of the National University and other universities. Teaching is something I want to do in the future, because transmitting knowledge is one of the most praiseworthy works of the human being. My methodology is based on the clear and didactic explanation of the theoretical concepts and the implementation of them during the class or as activities that the student must do in his free time. I usually dictate class with a duration of 2 to 3 hours. In subjects such as Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, tools such as Excel and graphing calculators can be used to improve the visualization of results. In subjects such as Econometrics and Statistics it is useful to use econometric programs such as Stata, R Studio, Eviews, for a better understanding of the theoretical concepts of the respective subjects.
