About Anton
I am a PhD candidate in Economics at UCL with a background in elite academic research. I hold an MSc in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from LSE and previously worked as a researcher at the Harvard Kennedy School. My goal is to make complex economic theory and econometrics accessible and understandable. I offer a unique advantage to university students: I currently serve as an Undergraduate Thesis Tutor at UCL. This means I know exactly what university graders are looking for and can guide you through research design, data analysis, and academic writing to help you secure a top mark. I also have extensive experience tutoring high school students, ensuring you have the solid foundation required for exam success. My teaching philosophy is built on the belief that complex economic and statistical concepts are best learnt through clear, intuitive examples rather than rote memorisation. Because of my deep background in research and mathematics, I can deconstruct difficult topics in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, and Probability into manageable steps. For A-Level and undergraduate students, I focus on bridging the gap between theory and exam technique to ensure you maximise your grades. I believe it is crucial that we are a good fit before we commit to regular lessons. I offer a free 30-minute consultation session where we can discuss your syllabus, your current struggles, and your academic goals. This allows me to build a tailored roadmap for our sessions, whether you need intensive exam prep or long-term thesis supervision.
