About Ka Hei
Being a classically trained clarinetist in New York and Hong Kong, I have been an enthusiastic soloist, orchestral musician and teacher. I received my Master of Music degree at the Manhattan School of Music, under the tutelage of Charles Neidich, and my Bachelor of Arts degree at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, studying with Andrew Simon. I was the winner of 2022 Lillian Fuchs Chamber Music Competition and International Music Competition London ‘Grand Prize Virtuoso’. With more than 5 years of clarinet and music theory teaching, I have been giving group clarinet classes in Music Centres, Primary and Secondary schools. I also have been providing individual clarinet lessons, both in person and online.
