About Joe
Hello! I am an enthusiastic clarinet and theory teacher based in Glasgow, with a bachelor's degree in composition at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. I have composed in contemporary, classical, jazz and rock styles for new music ensembles across the UK and achieved ABRSM Grade 8 theory, so have plenty of first-hand experience with which to guide those with an interest in writing music at any level.
With Conservatoire training and teaching experience, I am an accomplished clarinettist. I play and have played keyboard and reed instruments in several jazz, funk, rock and disco bands for several years, and I am thorough, supportive and patient in working with students towards the goals we set in order to give you a secure understanding and ability in the next step of your unique musical journey.
