About Walid
I am currently studying civil engineering at Northumbria University looking to 2023. I have studied maths and further maths at GCSE also continued onto doing maths in A-level. I have no official tutoring experience; however, I have privately conducted numerous sessions with family and friends. I have aided children aged 10-11 with their SATs examinations for which we have not received the results for yet. This has provided me with the ability to acknowledge the level of understanding tutees possess on certain topics.

My teaching method involves going through the theory of the content we are covering. Allow the tutee to properly understand and absorb crucial information regarding the topic. In the process, I will be providing simpler versions or customized versions best suited for the tutee to understand the content.
After completing the theory segment of the session/topic. The tutee will be required to carry out some worksheets to exercise the content recently covered.
Finally, once the worksheets have been completed or due to time, the tutee and tutor will practically switch roles. I will be asking my tutee to provide me with a 5-10mins crash course of the content we just covered. I believe this final step to being the best method of proving whether or not the tutee has absorbed the content information.
The tutee must have provide their own textbooks and worksheets.

KS1-KS2: The tutoring sessions will be £10 per hour. KS3-GCSE: £12.50 per hour.
Travel cost within Newcastle will be £3.50. Travel cost to Gateshead will be £4.50. Travel cost further out will be £5.00
