About Pierre
Civil engineering student (w/ computer science minor) at UCLouvain, I discovered a passion about programming during my first year at university and I learned various languages such as Java, Swift, C, Dart, PHP, Oz, ...
In 2018, I launched my own business in mobile application development in parallel with my courses. We have put online 7 applications and other projects are under development. I have already trained two developers and completed the training of a third.

During our first meeting, we will discuss your goals and expectations in relation to this course but also your knowledge and experience in the areas of computer science and mathematics. This meeting aims to define the structure of our following meetings. Depending on this, I may popularize some notions to fit your goals and knowledge.
The first lessons will take place without a computer. Indeed, in my opinion, IT is above all a question of logic and many concepts are more affordable on paper because coding is easy.
Then, we will structure the computer courses according to your project, moving forward in smaller projects that will allow you to learn the essential concepts for your goal.
In order to optimize your learning, it is important that you work outside of the sessions. So, I recommend two meetings of 2 hours per week. Each session followed by work to be done for the next session. The duration of the work generally varies between 30 and 90 minutes.
Points seen during the course:
• Depending on you, we will be able to see the ORM and UML diagrams which aim to structure large-scale projects or promote teamwork;
• Notions of algorithmics;
• Variables, functions and data structures;
• Optimization;
• Installation and use of an IDE;

/! \ Development for iOS requires the use of MacOS /! \
I will have my MacBook Pro with me at each class to run your projects but you should know that if you want to do preview tests on iPhone or iPad, this is not possible on Windows or Linux.
