About Carolina
I am an anthropologist at Universidad de los Andes graduated in 2015. I have always been very passionate about film and documentary. I have experience in editing with Premiere Pro and in sound production with Ableton. At this moment I am being Executive Producer of a virtual reality documentary that won the Audiovisual Research Scholarship in Dance of Idartes. I am in the process of applying for a master's degree in Audiovisual and Digital Anthropology from the Freie University Berlin.

My teaching methodology is didactic. I think it is important to enjoy what is studied through the game and the discussion based on own arguments. I also like to have striking archival material for learning, since it facilitates that the information becomes much more palpable for the student. On the other hand, it is a methodology that emphasizes history. It is extremely important to make interconnections between the creative process and the various art schools that have influenced the way in which the artist's discipline is conceived, specifically when dealing with the audiovisual editing process. With these theoretical-practical tools it is more feasible to relate what has been learned in class to subjective everyday life. In parallel, it is important to know about the different possibilities that the software available today can offer when it comes to audiovisual production. In this course we will learn together about the basics of Adobe Premiere Pro, and we will make a final audiovisual project based on the topic that interests the participant.
