About Francesca
I grew up between Calabria, in the deep south of Italy, and Rome. After a formative stint in Bordeaux, France, I settled in Oxford, where I’ve worked across international schools and media companies, always with a global mindset and a local heart. My journey into language teaching began early: as a teenager, I volunteered during European youth exchange programmes hosted in my village. Later, in Rome, I taught Italian to refugees and asylum seekers. I’m also a lifelong language learner myself. Right now, I’m studying Chinese (with slow but steady progress!) and I bring that empathy and curiosity into every lesson I teach.
