About Mark
I am a native Italian/English speaker, born and raised in Italy with over 10 year professional experience in the USA and UK, and now working in the sports industry. I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Bocconi University and a Master’s degree from Columbia University. I have teaching experience as a guest lecturer in top universities in sport management and sport analytics, working with international students and professionals. Big fan of sports, travels, food, trainers and watches.

Ciao! Piacere di conoscerti! I offer Italian conversation classes focused on practical, real-life speaking. The goal is to help you become more confident and natural in Italian, through guided dialogues, role plays and discussion on topics that interest you (work, travel, sport, culture). I teach adults at all levels, from beginners who know only a few words to advanced speakers who want to refine fluency, accuracy and vocabulary. I adjust the pace, materials and type of conversation to your level and your goals. All lessons are held online via video call (Zoom, Google Meet or whichever platform you prefer). I am based in the UK, but I work with students from any country and time zone. My style is structured but relaxed: I correct your mistakes, explain the “why” behind expressions, and always keep the focus on speaking as much Italian as possible. A presto!
