About Vincent
I have been tutoring in-person on and off for five years, having started tutoring lower sixth students whilst still at school. I have a strong record of academic achievement including:
— BA Classical Archaeology and Ancient History from Christ Church, Oxford. During my degree I was awarded an Exhibition (scholarship) and the Christ Church Ancient History Prize.
—A*AAA A Levels in English Language and Literature, History, and Philosophy, including an EPQ in Environmental Politics, from one of the top grammar schools in the country.
— 9 GCSEs at A* or A.
I am a current MA student in Art History.

Hi ! Vincent here. I specialise in short-term (1-3) one hour sessions tailored to the specific needs of the student. Though sessions are generally one hour, I am often happy to go over as and when needed. I will occasionally do in-person tutorials for a negotiated fee, but most of my sessions are online.
Approachability is important to me and I like to meet the student at their level. I am happy to tutor any age or level from secondary school to undergraduate, specialising in Oxbridge admissions advice, guidance on academic and creative writing (including poetry), and general tutorials in the humanities. My academic expertise lies in material culture, art history, and its reception.
Given the short-term nature of my tutorials I charge a slightly higher fee than long-term tutors. I offer a 30 minute chat, free of charge, for you to gauge whether I'd be a good fit.
