About Suzanne
Hello, I'm Suzanne! I love to sing, especially along with other people, and I've been singing in choirs and solo for nearly 25 years, since I was in 2nd grade. This has been a passion and much-enjoyed extracurricular, recently while I've pursued and completed a PhD in Chemical Engineering at Stanford. I've been highly trained in the Kodaly method of solfège as well as years of voice lessons and choral experience. I have been a vocal coach specializing in singing skills over the years as well as a children's church choir director for 3 years.
Ever been excited to sing, perhaps looking at a sheet of music, but a little unsure exactly where the next note should be? I'd love to help you enjoy your singing more as well, by improving your skills. Become more comfortable with rhythm, intervals, phrasing, musicality - improve sight-reading, holding down your part in choir, and even playing around with harmonization. In addition, I utilize solfège (do re mi ....in relative do) when I sing, so learning this is an option as well - an investment that can greatly improve your sight-reading and vocal accuracy.

Perfect! Suzanne is excellent, responsive and timely!
Perfect! I recently took a one-hour singing lesson with Suzanne, and it was a great experience. She’s knowledgeable, patient, and really knows how to bring out your strengths while helping you improve in a comfortable way.
