About Bing
I'd been an English teacher in China for 5 years and I'm teaching Mandarin at WEA in Newcastle. With a genuine interest in developing students' linguistic skills, I'd like to have my students grow confident and comfortable with the language through games and practice.

Most of my teaching is student-centered. My tutoring is based on games, inquiry, and personalized learning. When introducing something new, I'd like to go through the MFP (Meaning, Form, Pronunciation) and then follow with games. I offer lessons to those who simply want to get to know another language, or those who are going to China for tourism and wish to learn some Chinese to make their trip easier, or those who want to speak Chinese on a more advanced level!

Perfect! I worked with this tutor, Bing, for over 2 years on a regular basis. Bing used her knowledge about teaching languages, in particular Mandarin, to help me practice and develop my knowledge, skills and understanding. Lessons were very enjoyable and successful. I worked for 2 years with Bing teaching English. She is a wonderful teacher, adjusting easily to the students' levels, and developing great rapport with them to make classes entertaining while they get the most out of it. Her English has a slight American accent, is better than many native speakers, and she has a good grasp of many British, American and Australian slang words and idioms, helping students sound more like native speakers. You won't be disappointed with Bing as your teacher.
