About Avon
I am a qualified Mandarin teacher in the UK. I'm fully equipped with professional knowledge with my two master's degrees in MEd and MA. My MEd is about Teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages which was issued by one of the top 10 universities in China and my MA is about Education which was gained in one of the top10 universities in the UK. My area of expertise is teaching language through the whole body response and communicative techniques, and I am a very outgoing and supportive teacher who enjoys sharing tales and thoughts. Students say I'm a patient, professional, and friendly instructor. I see myself as an excellent educator with a speciality in Chinese. My students have never complained that Chinese is too difficult since I am able to simplify even the most complicated subjects for them.

Through a variety of exercises, students in my classroom will practise both speaking and writing Chinese characters. There are additional specialised exercises available for those with more specific requirements (grammar, listening, etc.).
My students have told me that hearing stories about Chinese myths, fables, and characters has been an enjoyable way to learn the language and culture.
