About Genevieve
My teaching methodology is based on Positivity, Empathy, and a Critical Thinking approach. Chess is all about strategy, foresight, and adaptability, so I focus on helping students develop a deep understanding of key concepts such as openings, middlegames, and endgames. I make sure to adapt lessons to their needs, helping them overcome challenges while maintaining a sense of achievement. As a mentor, I guide students not just through chess moves, but through the process of critical thinking, helping them improve their decision-making both on and off the board.
