About Can
I am a researcher in cognitive science at Lund University. I have a great passion for chess and I am a candidate master. I am a certified chess coach from the European Chess Union. I have a youtube channel on chess where I go through chess classics with a strong pedagogical angle: (concealed information) I also have a passion for teaching and I offer courses at all levels to promote this beautiful game that develops several cognitive skills such as memory, critical thinking and the ability to concentrate. I offer courses in Swedish and in English.

Chess improvement requires active participation. Thus, I apply methods that ensure that the student is actively involved in the process, such as solving problems or guessing the moves in master games. I give homework to my students, adapted to their level of play and I adapt flexibly to the students' needs.
