About Talia
My fascination with chess began through an appreciation for strategy, creativity, and analytical thinking. This interest inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics followed by a Master’s Degree in Strategic Decision Sciences. During my 6 years of coaching experience, I have helped students improve both their chess skills and confidence.
I believe effective coaching requires patience, clarity, and adaptability. My teaching style focuses on helping students understand the reasoning behind moves instead of simply memorizing patterns. I enjoy creating lessons that challenge learners while keeping them motivated.
Outside teaching, I spend time studying professional games, analyzing new strategies, and following major chess competitions. These experiences help me bring fresh ideas into every lesson. Helping students achieve their goals through chess remains one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.

My chess lessons are designed to help students develop strong thinking skills while improving their understanding of the game. We focus on opening principles, tactical combinations, calculation methods, board visualization, piece activity, and endgame fundamentals through structured practice and detailed game analysis. Every lesson encourages logical thinking and consistent improvement.
As learners progress, we explore positional planning, advanced tactical themes, time management, tournament preparation, strategic evaluation, and practical decision-making. Lessons are tailored to individual strengths and learning goals, allowing students to improve efficiently and confidently. Regular reviews help learners recognize patterns and strengthen their overall understanding.
I believe chess is more than a game because it teaches patience, discipline, and problem-solving. My goal is to help students become thoughtful and confident players who enjoy learning and competing. Every lesson supports intellectual growth and long-term development.
