About Nikolai
I am a computer engineering college student who has been playing chess seriously for over 5 years and has competed in official collegiate chess tournaments. I have played over 2500 online chess games and am also familiar with FIDE rules and regulations.

My teaching approach is to supply you with the fundamentals of solid, sound chess and build your skill on top of that through hands on chess experience as well as guided chess theory and study. I will teach you how to reason about the value of certain positions and the strength of possible moves.
