About Fiona
As a chess coach with 13 years of experience, I am dedicated to fostering a deep understanding and love for the game in my students. My expertise lies in strategy, openings, and competition preparation, making my lessons comprehensive and effective for players of all levels. Outside of coaching, I am an avid chess player myself, regularly participating in local and online tournaments to stay sharp and updated with the latest strategies and trends in the chess world. This hands-on experience enriches my teaching, as I can share practical insights and real-world examples with my students. I am also passionate about studying famous games and analyzing the moves of grandmasters, which allows me to bring a historical and analytical perspective to my lessons, helping students appreciate the depth and richness of chess.
In my personal life, I enjoy a variety of hobbies that complement my passion for chess.
