About Aurora
My teaching approach in Chemistry focuses on building strong conceptual understanding through active visualization. Whether we're discussing hybridization or ionization energy, I guide students to make connections across topics for a deeper understanding. I also integrate practice problems and regular review to strengthen confidence and memory. My sessions are tailored to each student's learning style and academic level, making sure no one feels left behind. I’m especially supportive of students aiming for careers in medicine or those curious about the natural world, helping them build a strong foundation in chemistry.

With over 7 years of experience as a Chemistry tutor and an MSc in Analytical Chemistry, I bring both academic depth and real-world insight to my teaching. My passion lies in the fascinating chemistry of natural products and biomolecules. I’m especially drawn to the vibrant world of secondary metabolites, natural dyes, flavors, and the diverse range of biologically active compounds that nature offers.
From the pigments in flowers to the healing compounds in medicinal plants, I love exploring how nature crafts complex molecules with powerful properties. I guide my students through the processes of extraction, isolation, and structural elucidation of these compounds—helping them connect textbook theory with hands-on scientific discovery.
Whether it’s understanding how turmeric gets its golden hue or how alkaloids influence our biology, I strive to make each lesson engaging and relevant. My approach is patient, interactive, and tailored to each student’s academic level and curiosity.
