About Jade
I’m a passionate Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry. My fascination lies in the chemistry of natural products and biomolecules — the incredible compounds that nature creates with elegance and purpose. I love exploring how plants, microbes, and animals produce secondary metabolites that influence our daily lives in ways we often overlook. In my sessions, I introduce students to the chemistry behind natural dyes, flavors, and biologically active compounds. We discuss how these molecules are extracted, isolated, and identified using modern analytical techniques. I focus on connecting classroom theory with real-world research, showing how chemistry bridges the gap between living systems and laboratory science. My teaching blends scientific curiosity with clarity and structure. I guide students to appreciate the detailed processes that reveal the structure and behavior of natural molecules. Every lesson encourages observation, experimentation, and discovery. My teaching approach in Chemistry focuses on understanding concepts through real-world connections and hands-on problem-solving. I believe that chemistry becomes exciting when students can see how it explains the reactions and materials we encounter every day. My lessons cover essential topics like acid-base chemistry, pH calculations, titration, and buffer solutions, with each concept building smoothly on the previous one.
I emphasize practical applications, showing how these topics relate to laboratory work, industry, and environmental science. Students learn to think critically, calculate accurately, and approach problems with confidence. Every session is interactive, with worked examples, visual explanations, and plenty of practice to reinforce key ideas.
As a researcher and Olympiad contestant, I bring analytical precision and curiosity to my teaching. I focus on strengthening students’ understanding of chemical equilibrium, helping them grasp how reactions balance and change under different conditions. My goal is to make complex topics simple, logical, and engaging.
Students receive personal guidance at every stage, whether it’s preparing for exams, improving lab skills, or deepening theoretical knowledge. I encourage them to ask questions, explore patterns, and discover the “why” behind chemical behavior. By the end of our lessons, they gain confidence in chemical calculations and a clear understanding of how chemistry shapes the world around them.
