About Millie
My fascination with Chemistry began with curiosity about how molecules interact and change. This curiosity led me to pursue an M.Sc in Organic Chemistry, where I gained expertise in theoretical principles, laboratory techniques, and analytical reasoning. Over 10 years of teaching, I have guided students of varying abilities to progress from uncertainty to mastery and confidence through structured and patient instruction. I emphasize clarity, adaptability, and encouragement in teaching. I tailor lessons to each student’s thought process, using visual aids, analogies, and step-by-step reasoning. I encourage curiosity, exploration, and learning from mistakes, helping learners develop resilience and confidence. Outside teaching, I stay actively engaged with Chemistry through research, experimentation, and keeping up-to-date with developments in the field. Teaching Chemistry is deeply rewarding because I witness students gain analytical skills, confidence, and independence. Supporting their growth and intellectual development is the most fulfilling aspect of my work.

Lesson content is tailored to the learner’s proficiency. Beginners explore chemical symbols, basic reactions, and formula writing through visual explanations and guided practice. Intermediate learners study stoichiometry, periodic trends, acids and bases, and reaction types using interactive exercises. Advanced learners focus on equilibrium, kinetics, thermodynamics, and complex reaction mechanisms with structured problem-solving strategies and accuracy.
