About Mia
My fascination with chemistry began when I first observed chemical reactions during laboratory experiments in school. I found it fascinating to see how substances change and interact to create new compounds. This curiosity motivated me to pursue further studies in chemistry and eventually complete a Bachelor’s degree in the subject.
Over the past 6 years, I have taught chemistry to students from different academic backgrounds and helped them develop a clearer understanding of complex chemical concepts. Many learners initially find chemistry challenging because it involves formulas, calculations, and scientific terminology. To make the subject easier to understand, I focus on explaining concepts step by step and using visual illustrations to demonstrate chemical processes.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading about scientific research and learning how chemistry contributes to advancements in medicine, environmental protection, and industrial technology. Staying curious about scientific developments allows me to bring interesting real-world examples into my lessons. Helping students gain confidence and curiosity while studying chemistry is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my teaching experience.

Chemistry is the science that explains how substances interact, combine, and change to form new materials. My lessons focus on helping students understand important chemistry topics such as atomic structure, periodic table trends, chemical bonding, reaction types, acids and bases, and energy changes during chemical reactions. Rather than memorizing formulas and equations without context, students learn how these concepts explain real chemical processes.
During lessons, students develop their understanding through clear explanations, diagrams, and problem-solving exercises. Beginners begin with fundamental topics such as atoms, elements, molecules, and basic chemical reactions. Intermediate learners explore bonding structures, balancing chemical equations, and solution chemistry. Advanced students study more complex topics such as thermodynamics, chemical equilibrium, and analytical problem solving. Visual examples and guided exercises help students understand chemical processes more clearly.
As students continue studying chemistry, they begin to recognize how chemical reactions influence many aspects of daily life, including cooking, environmental processes, medicine, and industrial production. Understanding these connections helps students appreciate the importance of chemistry in the modern world. My goal is to help students develop a strong conceptual understanding of chemistry while improving their confidence in solving chemical problems.
