About Aarna
I hold a PhD in Analytical Chemistry and have 11 years of teaching experience. My interest in chemistry began through a fascination with how scientific investigation reveals hidden details about the world around us. This curiosity eventually led me towards both research and education.
My teaching approach emphasises clarity, patience, and steady progress. I enjoy helping students overcome learning barriers by simplifying complex topics into manageable ideas. Every learner receives support designed around their individual needs and strengths.
Outside teaching, I enjoy following developments in chemical analysis, environmental science, and laboratory innovation. These interests help me bring relevant examples into lessons. Supporting students as they grow in confidence and scientific understanding is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

My chemistry lessons are built around helping students understand how chemical principles explain the behaviour of matter and energy. We explore topics including atomic models, chemical equations, solutions, equilibrium, electrochemistry, and organic compounds through simple explanations and structured learning. I focus on developing strong understanding rather than short-term memorisation.
Each lesson is adjusted to match the learner’s current level and educational goals. Beginners work on mastering foundational concepts and scientific vocabulary, while advanced students strengthen analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Practice exercises and guided discussions help reinforce learning and improve confidence.
I believe chemistry becomes much easier when students understand how different concepts relate to one another. My lessons encourage curiosity, careful observation, and logical reasoning. The goal is to help learners develop both academic success and confidence in their scientific abilities.
