About Mary
I love chemistry, and I hope that my passion will inspire you too! In the past two years, I've achieved a 4.0 in every semester of general, organic, and quantum chemistry at Haverford College, so I possess the tools to succeed in any college-level course. In the future, I'm planning on pursuing a PhD in either organic chemistry or computational chemistry. When I'm not working on grad school applications, I'm either working toward publishing my research in lab, playing tennis as a member of my school's varsity tennis team, or developing my startup, Ford's Closet.

I recently took organic chemistry myself, so I understand which concepts are more difficult, remember what explanations actually clicked for me, and still have access to the materials and resources that helped me succeed. I have also been tutoring and assisting my organic chemistry teacher for the past year at my own college, so not only do I have recent learning experience, but I'm an experienced tutor. As a current college student, I can connect with young students which will enable me to be a better listener and teacher than other options. I can teach high school and college level chemistry students.
